A delivery charge is NOT a tip!

For those of you out there who think a delivery charge is a replacement for a tip, you couldn't be more wrong. Although there is a charge for delivery, you should still provide a generous tip for your service provider. I hate it when you guys ask if the delivery charge goes to me or the restaurant. What difference does it make? if it goes to me, you won't give me a tip?!?

Don't piss off your delivery guy! After all, we do know where you live! Not that we'll come and throw toilet tissue around your yard, but the next time you call for delivery, we'll be suspiciously busy and delivery could take about 45 minutes...dig?

I had a conversation with a friend of mines about this issue. He says that this is the reason why he doesn't leave a tip b/c the company charges 2 bucks for delivery charge. He's just a cheap bastard anyway...lol

nice blog man...you have me cracking up. lol.

JT, ask your friend if he would come pick up the food if he were offered a $2 discount each time. What about when it rains? snows? Oh whatever, you already said he's a cheap bastard LoL. Thanks for posting!

Well dominos charges 8 dollars...and with tip that is 13 dollars...if my order costs 20 dollars...then I'm paying over 50% in delivery charge and tip...I say that it's dominos fault if someone doesn't tip for trying to profit off of deliveries by taking away from the drivers...And if drivers really do get that 8 dollars...shame on them for accepting tips bc u can't have your cake and eat it too....
